New York, New York

New York City. How many other cities have multiple songs written about them, and have been the stage for many movies. It's a great city, full of restaurants to please any foodie, a nightlife that is hard to beat, and world known musicals and spectacular events. It's a magical city where many people dream of visiting and possibly calling home.

Have you ever been to New York? If you have, is it your favorite city in the US? A recent votetrends.com poll showed that over 30% of respondents preferred New York over any city in the US.

Whether it's your favorite city or not, one cannot deny that New York is a special city, filled with light and a sense of a new adventure at every street corner.

Big Bling

A time old question: How much to spend on an engagement ring?

There are many answers to this question, depending who you are and of course how much you make. Marketers for diamond companies have done a great job of making people believe that two to three month's salary should be dropped on a shiny diamond ring. Does the size or quality of the ring really have anything to do with the love a man has for his wife to be?

votetrends.com users were asked on a recent poll, how much do you think should be spent on a this piece of bling? What do you think?

Flip Flopper

With summer heat fast approaching, many companies alert their employees to what is- and is not- appropriate for summer attire. Polo shirts?

Does your workplace have a summer-specific dress code? How casual is too casual?

CrossFit or Die

CrossFit has become quite the popular trend in workouts since it was first created in 2000 by Greg Glassman in the US. CrossFit advocates swear by the program and have formed a sort of community around the workout.

Other high intensity workout regiments such P90X (Power 90 Extreme) and Insanity have surfaced since then, and have offered regular people a chance to push themselves to their limits while working out. Crossfit, P90X and Insanity have been around for over a decade and seem to be gaining in popularity every year.
